FAQ
Questions HR buyers ask before they sign up.
Corestride ER operationalizes the People's Approach — intake, fact-finding, decision, coaching, documentation — with HR review inside the flow. Read the methodology › The answers below cover the legal, jurisdictional, and data-isolation questions HR buyers tend to ask before they roll the platform out.
Buyer questions
Legal posture, jurisdictions, data isolation, retention, org-wide visibility, and pricing.
01
Is Corestride ER legal advice?
No. Drafts are starting points for HR review. Severance and release language routes through employment counsel before sending; protected-class framing and FMLA-adjacent context get a second reviewer before any employment action. The platform treats HR review as the legal line — the case URL is restricted material, and the HR review log is part of the record.
02
Which jurisdictions are covered today?
Federal, all 50 states (employment-law baseline, paid leave, wage notice, retaliation frameworks), plus EU/UK for cross-border teams. The intake captures jurisdiction; the draft is jurisdiction-aware, and the case workspace surfaces the most recent regulatory update relevant to the matter. Compliance-flag callouts on the draft reference the same regulatory feed so HR review can verify the framing in one place.
03
How is employee data isolated per employer?
Every case is keyed to a per-workspace record. HR review notes live in the same dossier; shares happen with the HR team only. The platform stores intake fields, drafts, compliance-flag callouts, and dossier entries against the same case URL — you can produce an audit trail from one record, not a thread of side documents.
04
What happens to my cases if I cancel?
Case records remain accessible for the documented retention window so HR can finish review, hand off to employment counsel, and produce audit-trail exports. After the window ends, records are deleted on the standard schedule. Enterprise tiers add advanced audit trail and e-discovery support as part of the contractual terms.
05
Who inside my org can see a case?
Solo HR Pro: one seat, full workspace access. HR Team: roles assigned per case, shared case dossier, second-reviewer signoff gate before any deliverable lands. Enterprise: SSO, contract terms, and a named review contact — set on rollout.
06
How accurate is the AI, and where can it be wrong?
The output is a jurisdiction-aware starting-point draft, not advice. The model can misframe protected-class issues, misstate state-specific notice windows (paid sick carryover, final-pay timing, wage-notice form requirements), or hallucinate citations to regulations that don't apply to your matter. HR review is the human check before any employment action; severance and release language always routes through counsel — not through the AI. Compliance-flag callouts on the draft are surface-level framing cues, not a legal review: verify the cited regulation against the regulatory feed before relying on the framing.
07
What export formats are supported?
The platform is a workspace, not a write-back system — we don't push into your HRIS. Exports are shareable artifacts for HR review and counsel handoff: PDF (generated from the same case record via the platform's PDF pipeline), a shared case dossier via a signed share link scoped to the matter, and an audit-trail export keyed to the case URL. Every export is produced from the same case record — intake summary, draft text, compliance-flag callouts, HR review log, and dossier entries — so HR review and counsel see one source, not a thread of side documents.
08
How does pricing work?
Three pricing bands: Solo HR Pro (single seat, full workspace, jurisdiction-aware draft engine), HR Team (multi-seat, shared case dossier, second-reviewer signoff, manager-led ER coaching outlines), and Enterprise (multi-jurisdiction workspace, custom template additions, advanced audit trail and e-discovery support, named review contact). Pricing is founder-editable — placeholder price labels land on the home page until the final numbers ship before the paid rollout.
09
What is the People’s Approach?
The People's Approach is the canonical method Corestride ER operationalizes across every case: intake, fact-finding, decision, coaching, documentation. HR review is the standard step inside the flow, not a bolted-on afterthought. Read the full methodology ›
10
How is the case record stored?
Five-step ordered record: intake summary, draft text, compliance-flag callouts, HR review log, dossier entries — all keyed to the same case URL. HR review feedback is part of the record, not a side thread. Read the full methodology ›
Drafts are starting points for HR review. Severance and release language routes through employment counsel; protected-class framing and FMLA-adjacent context get a second reviewer before any employment action. The People's Approach lives in the workspace — see the methodology page for the end-to-end method.
